The DSub Operations team have proved themselves able to maintain their perspective under the demanding conditions of work at sea. While this is an group of contractors they must and do function as the DSub Operations team. Expertise is exchanged readily and cross-training is mandatory. Through their individual and combined efforts they have gained the respect of scientists, commercial customers and ships' crew alike.
Fred Murdock
mech tech, robotics and automation tech, pilot and navigator.
Practically abducted by the DSub Op team in 1998, Fred adds a unique perspective and a variety of engineering skills to the crew.

Mike Duvall
Navigator, mooring tech, mech tech, biologist, & pilot in training.
As a principal of Oceanetic Measurement Ltd. Mike has offered oceanographic consulting and technical support services for over ten years. Entering his third year supporting DSub Op, Mike's range of talents have made him indispensable.

Keith Nortman
General Manager, Chief pilot, navigator, & etech.
A veteran of 18 years in research submersibles, Keith has the ability to focus the talent and resources that make DSub Operations a consistent success.

Bob Fieldman
Hydraulics tech, mech tech, pilot
Bob has been involved in building, operating and maintaining manned and unmanned submersibles for more than 27 years. Talented and experienced in the role of top 'wrench' on the DSub Op. team, Bob is also known for a deft hand on the spatially-correspondent 7-function manipulator.
